Who can order the tactile units?

The Tactile Tappers can be ordered by therapists or clients. 

We suggest that therapists order a pair for themselves initially so that they can try them out and get familiar with connecting them and what the different pulse intensity levels feel like. The therapist can then use the Tactile Tappers for in-persion sessions or send them to a client for remote sessions.

Tactile Tappers can be ordered and shipped in the following ways:

• Ordered directly by a client
• Ordered by the therapist on behalf of a client and shipped directly to the client’s address. The client’s address can be entered as the shipping address during checkout (with the client’s consent).
• Ordered and shipped to the therapist and then sent on to a client

 

Will my clients be able to set up the Tactile Tappers by themselves?

The Tactile Tappers include simple, clear instructions for both therapist and clients, so your clients will be able to get themselves set up for online sessions without any guidance from you.

 

What are the system requirements for using the Tappers?

Can my clients connect the Tactile Tappers to an Apple iPad/iPhone

The tactile units can’t be connected to an Apple iPad/iPhone as Apple places restrictions on what peripheral devices can be connected to these devices.

 

Do the tactile units work with USB-C?

Yes an adaptor is included so that the Tactile Tappers can be connected to an ‘old’ USB-A or USB-C connection on your device

 

How do I control the Tactile Tappers

The tappers are controlled through the Bilateral Base online platform.

 

Do I need a paid subscription with Bilateral Base to use the Tactile Tappers?
