Auditory BLS – I can hear BLS even when ‘Client Only’ is selected

Was your client wearing headphones?

This is likely caused because your client is using their computer speakers instead of headphones for sound.

Their microphone is picking up the BLS from their speakers and that is how you are hearing it.

Solutions are:

  • Ideally get the client to wear headphones this is a much better way of delivering auditory BLS as there is proper separation of the sound that is fed to their left and right ears. We recommend wired headphones as not all wireless headphones are suitable for BLS. If this is not possible
  • If headphone are not available then turning down the BLS volume from the ‘BLS Settings’ Menu may reduce or eliminate this effect
